1. The Gingko Tree Excerpt read at the Denman Island Readers and Writers Festival Mini-Fest 2020. My reading.  New skill – I got to read using a teleprompter.
2. Summer Solstice North Island College English Department 3-hour Fiction Contest 2020. This is a specific prompt short story fiction challenge that is a fundraiser for the department and the brainchild of English Instructor, Stephen Schoenhoff.  My piece – Summer Solstice was the winner of the August event.
3. The Hummingbird Excerpt read at Denman Island Readers and Writers Turning-the-Page Event 2021.
4. The Tree Short story, read at Denman Island Readers and Writers Festival 2022. And introduced the delightful Cedar Bowers, author of ASTRA.
